Generated logos often appear polished at first glance while hiding malformed letters, uneven symmetry, stray dots and gradients that do not translate cleanly into a small set of paths.

    Find generated artifacts

    Zoom into the source before tracing. Look for broken letterforms, inconsistent spacing, fuzzy edges and isolated pixels.

    Decide what should become flat

    A tracer converts visible color areas, not design intent. Choose how many bands a gradient needs and which tiny details should disappear.

    Treat the trace as a draft

    Compare silhouette, lettering and negative space. Redraw brand-critical shapes manually when the generated pixels are ambiguous.

Do not automate the approval

Check design intent, not just file format.

  • Verify every letter against the intended brand name before tracing.
  • Use fewer colors when a decorative gradient would create dozens of narrow bands.
  • Remove detached specks and accidental edge fragments before using the logo at small sizes.
  • Redraw symmetry, spacing and trademark-critical geometry when the source is inconsistent.

Vectorization makes pixels editable; it does not make an unresolved concept correct, unique or legally safe. Confirm originality and trademark availability separately before adopting any generated logo.
